In Germany, CargoBeamer has been manufacturing its own platforms since 2022, increasing the number of cars on European routes. This joint production venture aims to strengthen intermodal transport across Europe.

Expanding European Freight Networks with Advanced Technology

CargoBeamer technology aims to boost the efficiency of intermodal transport through its innovative semi-trailer platforms. The collaboration with CRRC will significantly enhance the infrastructure supporting this type of transportation. CRRC’s expertise in freight car manufacturing enables rapid scaling of production to meet European market demands.

In 2023, CRRC produced over 33,000 freight cars and achieved more than $2.6 billion in revenue from freight transport. Their long-standing presence in the EU market, exporting cars for over 15 years, positions them well for this venture.

By partnering with CargoBeamer, CRRC will expand its operations in Europe and potentially begin production in Hungary, further cementing its market position.
