Efficient Logistics for Rail Deliveries to Scandinavia

The ferry crosses the Baltic Sea to the Swedish port of Ystad, where the wagons continue by rail to final recipients. This uninterrupted route minimizes risks and ensures logistical continuity.

Moreover, eliminating reloading preserves the integrity of the cargo. This is especially important for transporting heavy and long products such as rails.

Rail Deliveries Drive Expansion Into New Markets

With this solution, Polish steel producers gain stable access to Scandinavian markets. PKP CARGO is already exploring ways to scale the model to other destinations across Northern Europe.

The company is in talks with potential clients seeking reliable rail-based deliveries. This transport format supports modern demands for sustainable and secure logistics.

In summary, rail deliveries using this intermodal route strengthen Poland’s export capabilities and reinforce PKP CARGO’s competitiveness on the international market.
