The main focus was on the supply of electric trains and the training of Uzbek specialists for their subsequent maintenance.

Particular attention during the negotiations was given to the possibility of creating production facilities in Uzbekistan.

The prospects for production localization were discussed, which would significantly reduce the costs of rolling stock procurement and increase the country’s technological independence.

The opening of local production could create new opportunities for economic growth and job creation in Uzbekistan.

Both sides agreed on the need for a thorough analysis of the economic feasibility and technical possibility of implementing the project.

In particular, Stadler Rail’s pricing policy and conditions under which cooperation could be beneficial for Uzbekistan were discussed.

Additionally, a decision was made to conduct an in-depth study of the country’s passenger transport needs and how they could be met with Stadler Rail products.

The Uzbek side expressed interest in the early commencement of practical work, and Stadler Rail declared its readiness to consider all possible scenarios for the successful launch of the project.

In the future, this cooperation could significantly improve the country’s transport infrastructure and enhance the quality of railway services.
