The trials are expected to be completed within two weeks, after which the trams will continue to operate alongside the older high-floor U2A models, which Siemens produced in the 1980s and 1990s.

The S700 model has been designed to meet modern comfort and accessibility standards.

The trams can accommodate up to 225 passengers, including 74 seats.

With a maximum operating speed of 88 km/h, they can efficiently handle urban transportation demands.

A key feature of this model is the fully low-floor design across all boarding and alighting areas, greatly facilitating access for passengers with reduced mobility.

The interior also includes four dedicated spaces for wheelchairs, ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers.
