12.01.2022
China launched the Fuxing bullet train capable of reaching speeds of up to 350 km/h. The high-speed train will have a 5G live broadcast studio.
This is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply citing Xinhua. On its first journey, the train followed the high-speed rail linking Beijing to Zhangjiakou, the co-host city of the Beijing Winter Olympics.
The Beijing-Zhangjiakou High Speed Railway will support passenger transport during the 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Beijing, which will be held from January 21 to March 16.
This train is considered the world’s first high-speed train with a 5G live studio that can stream content using 5G.
The eight-car super-high-speed electric train (EMU) will accommodate more than 560 people, while one of the cars will contain workplace for media.
The train will also include air purification devices, ski lockers and wheelchair space, and support for the BeiDou navigation satellite system.
