The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine intends to create a special fund for the development of railway and aviation infrastructure.

This was announced by Minister Alexander Kubrakov at the forum “Large construction: aviation and tourism”, reports the railway magazine Railway Supply.
“It is important to note two things to stimulate the aviation industry. This is the creation of a separate special fund for the development of aviation and railway infrastructure. We plan to do this in the 2022 budget.
The second is the introduction in Ukraine of the Public Service Obligation mechanism for critical routes for certain categories of passengers, “said Alexander Kubrakov. According to him, vaccinated citizens of Ukraine will be able to use the Public Service Obligation mechanism within the limits of the assistance provided to them from the state in the amount of UAH 1,000.
The management of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC and the Odessa regional authorities signed a memorandum within the framework of the Public Service Obligation (PSO) pilot project in commuter passenger transportation.
