Due to changes in leadership at LTG Cargo Polska, the company is seeking a new President of the Management Board, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Temporarily, the ambitious company will be led by Mindaugas Skunčikas, a board member of LTG Cargo Polska, who also heads the intermodal and international business development department of LTG Cargo in Lithuania.

“Together with the entire LTG Cargo group, we aim to develop new routes and services for clients in the region. These strategic goals are closely linked to Poland, which serves as our hub for international expansion and business diversification. Together, we continuously strengthen our positions in Poland’s domestic market. We continue the work started and hope that soon a new president will join the LTG Cargo Polska team to ensure the provision of even higher quality services to our clients in Poland and the realization of the company’s strategic goals,” says Eglė Šimė, President, board member of AB LTG Cargo.

Currently, LTG Cargo Polska transports intermodal freight along two international routes: Kaunas-Warsaw-Sławków and Kaunas-Duisburg, as well as provides domestic transportation upon request between the country’s major industrial centers.

LTG Cargo Polska sp.z o.o. is 100 percent owned by the Lithuanian railway carrier AB LTG Cargo, which is part of the railway group AB Lietuvos geležinkeliai (LTG).

LTG Cargo Polska started its operations in the transportation and forwarding services sector in 2020.

Currently, the company employs around 130 people. LTG Cargo Polska has a fleet of 32 locomotives, including state-of-the-art multisystem Siemens locomotives capable of efficiently transporting goods on international routes.
