The new rail track will improve access to Trenze Logistics’ warehouses and provide access to the Hill Group’s refinery, which will open in 2023.

The agreement on the transit of Belarusian fertilizers through Lithuania will be canceled on February 1

Hill Group is investing 105 million euros in new facilities. Rail freight will be needed to transport raw materials from the plant, which will process 60,000 tons of waste oil and produce 80,000 tons of oil per year.

In the first year it is assumed that the volume of traffic will amount to 67.7 thousand tons or 2610 wagons per year, and in the future it is planned to increase the volume of traffic.

As a reminder, Lithuania will stop the transit of Belarusian fertilizers from February.
