The subsidiary of the state-owned joint-stock company Latvijas dzelzceļš (LDz) – SIA ‘LDz Cargo’ – will offer to purchase two TEP70 series locomotives at an open oral auction, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

LDz Cargo will put up for auction two locomotives

The auction is scheduled for March 12, starting at 11:00. The starting price of the lot is 214 thousand euros.

Kazakhstan is selling locomotives to Mongolia

Two locomotives will be sold as one lot. The auction step is set at 5 thousand euros.

“To participate in the auction, bidders must provide an auction deposit and submit an application to LDz Cargo in the manner prescribed by the rules, accompanied by the documents specified in the auction rules,” the message notes.

As previously reported, LDz Cargo is developing freight transportation in Estonia and Lithuania.
