Latvian Railway announced a competition for the positions of members of the Supervisory Board of LDZ CARGO

JSC “Latvijas dzelzceļš”, as the sole shareholder of JSC “LDZ CARGO”, has announced an open competition for two positions of members of the Supervisory Board in the following areas: transport, logistics and customer relationship management; strategy, business development and change management.

Applicants must have at least three years of experience in a managerial position in the management of the company and the team over the past 10 years, reports the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to JSC “Latvijas dzelzceļš” The monthly remuneration of a member of the supervisory board reaches an average of 2249 euros.

As previously reported, on Thursday at a parliamentary meeting, People’s Deputies heard the report of the temporary investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the inspection and assessment of the state of the joint-stock company “Ukrainian Railways” and approved the corresponding resolution (296 votes in favor).

As the head of the commission Yulia Grishina noted during the presentation of the document, “the top management of Ukrzaliznytsia urgently needs to be changed and these people are brought to justice.” At the same time, on Friday, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal assured that the process of replacing the members of the Supervisory Board of UZ is underway.
