Results of 2021 for the production of rolling stock (electric locomotives, diesel locomotives, freight cars, gondola cars, railway tanks) in Russia.
It is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to rollingstock.
According to Rosstat, 290 mainline electric locomotives (-15% by 2020), 244 sections of mainline diesel locomotives (+4.7%) and 63.1 thousand freight cars (+10.4%) were produced last year.
Rosstat separately notes that in December 2021, 2.5 thousand gondola cars were produced (+19% compared to December 2020), 413 tanks (-34.7%) and 2.1 thousand platforms (+19.2%) .
