However, the company admits opening in January 2022. At the first stage, the total terminal capacity is expected to be 100,000 TEU. At the second stage, the construction of warehouses and an increase in capacity is expected, informs Railway Supply magazine with reference to urm.media.

According to a company representative, this project is key in cooperation with Lemtrans. Earlier, Lemtrans stated that the cost of the terminal is $ 15,000,000.

As a reminder, Metrans has begun construction of a new terminal in the Hungarian city of Zalaegerszeg. The terminal is located on the transport axis to the Adriatic ports of Trieste, Koper and Rijeka.

The company is investing about 40 million euros in the project with the support of the government.
