In January-October 2021, the Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe increased the production of wheelsets by 32.5% compared to the same period last year, to 19.5 thousand tons.


At the same time, according to the report on production activities for October, Interpipe for 10 months of this year increased sales of wheelsets by 25.7%, to 20.8 thousand tons.

It is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to the manufacturer.

In October-21, Interpipe reduced sales of railway products by 18.8% compared to September, to 14.1 thousand tons.

In particular, sales of railway wheels over the past month fell by 24.1%, to 11.1 thousand tons, while wheelsets increased by 22%, to 2.5 thousand tons, railway axles – by 3.3%, up to 0.4 thousand tons.

Interpipe paid UAH 2.2 billion of taxes and fees for 9 months

According to the document, the drop in sales of railway products in October is due to a decrease in sales to the CIS countries and a pause in the schedule of shipment to India (8% of all sales were sold in this market last month). At the same time, in the first 10 months of 2021, sales of Interpipe railway products decreased by 12.7% YoY, but the gap is gradually decreasing compared to 2020.
