India to Install Kavach System on 500 km of Railways

India is actively adopting advanced technologies to improve railway safety. RailTel has secured a ₹2.88 billion ($33.2 million) contract to equip 71 stations with the Kavach system. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
