Czech Republic to connect two airports by rail

The Czech Republic’s railway infrastructure operator Sprava Zeleznic has signed an agreement for the preparation of a project for a direct connection between Vaclav Havel Airport and Kladno. Czech Republic to connect two airports by rail

The construction entitled “Completion of the railway connection between Václav Havel airport and the Prague – Kladno airport line” involves the laying of a new railway line with a length of 4 km. In addition, it is planned to create a terminal that will connect rail, bus and tram transport.

Sprava Zeleznic also plans to announce tenders for the construction and reconstruction of several more sites this year. In particular, the reconstruction of the Kladno – Ostrovets line should begin in November this year.
