At InnoTrans 2024, Chinese manufacturer CRRC unveiled its hydrogen train CINOVA H2, which has become the true sensation of the year, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Previously, CRRC showcased the Impuls 2 diesel train with supercapacitors from the Polish company Newag.

Unlike previous models, the new CINOVA H2 reaches speeds of up to 160 km/h and is fully automated, making it an attractive solution for modern public transport.

The model stands out for its high level of digital technology integration, highlighting CRRC’s commitment to innovation in railway transport.

Although detailed technical specifications have not yet been disclosed, it is known that this train is based on the high-speed Fuxing platform, which has already proven itself in the market.

In 2022, CRRC introduced its first hydrogen multiple unit designed for urban transportation, and in 2023, the company announced a new generation of regional trains, CINOVA 2.0, with a focus on digital solutions.
