The Alstom trams are 33 meters long and can carry up to 200 passengers at a maximum speed of 70 km/h. Each vehicle is equipped with six double doors on each side, with each door being 1300 mm wide.
TW20 features all the essential modern technologies, including climate control systems, LED lighting, LCD screens, and USB ports. Alstom claims that 95% of the tram’s components are recyclable, and 99% can be reused, making them eco-friendly.

The contract for the delivery of 37 five-section Alstom trams was signed in 2021 for a total of €130 million. In July, an option for an additional 28 units was exercised for nearly €89 million. The first tram was delivered in March of this year.
All Alstom trams meet current safety and environmental standards and contribute to the city’s green transportation goals.
