98% of InnoTrans exhibition area already booked
“The mood in the railway industry at the beginning of this year InnoTrans is positive,” says trade fair organizer Messe Berlin. InnoTrans 2022 has aroused great international interest in the event, which will be held on September 20-23 under the motto “the future of mobility in times of climate change”.
On January 20, Messe Berlin announced that 98% of the InnoTrans exhibition space has already been booked. “Continued strong demand shows that after a long hiatus, the mobility sector is looking to come together again for a global industry platform,” said InnoTrans director Kerstin Schulz.
The 13th InnoTrans will cover 108,000 m2 and 42 halls. The exhibition will feature segments dedicated to railway technology, railway infrastructure, public transport, interior design and tunnel construction.
Mobility+ will be a new part of the public transport segment focused on mobility value-added service providers.
There are currently 18 Mobility+ exhibitors registered, including ioki, Mobimeo, Optibus, Door2Door, Better Mobility and CleverShuttle.
According to the organizers, international participation will be as high as at the last event in 2018, with 64% of exhibitors coming from 57 countries.
Participating national industry associations will include Swissrail from Switzerland, MAFEX from Spain, JORSA from Japan, ARIA from South Africa, CAMET from China, CRIDA from Taiwan, KORSIA from South Korea and ALAF from Argentina.
The International Monorail Association will participate for the first time, and Zeleros Hyperloop and Hardt Hyperloop will have a combined booth.
