DART strategic milestones 2025 within the Point B plan

Approved in 2024, the Point B strategic plan outlines how DART aims to become a highly used transportation system linking people and places throughout North Texas. In its new report, the agency notes that the DART strategic milestones 2025 capture measurable growth and service improvements achieved over the past year. Together, these steps are presented as part of the same long-term vision for riders and the communities DART serves.

During 2025, DART launched DART Transform, a 10-year, $2.5 billion system modernization program designed to upgrade infrastructure and operations. The agency also reports higher average rider satisfaction scores and the allocation of $110 million to projects focused on security, cleanliness and reliability.

In the same period, DART received the American Public Transportation Association’s gold-level distinction for its sustainability commitment, opened the 26-mile Silver Line commuter-rail corridor between Plano and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, brought a new Consolidated Dispatch Command Center into service and moved six transit-oriented development projects forward across North Texas.

“We committed to being transparent with all of our stakeholders about how we work with our employees, serve our customers and collaborate with our communities to strengthen our system,” said DART President and CEO Nadine Lee. She added that the latest report both honors that transparency pledge and showcases the work underway to deliver a transit system that is clean, safe, more connected and ready for the future of North Texas.
