These nine certified sites provide ideal conditions for companies planning to build new operations or expand current ones, allowing them to leverage CPKC’s powerful North American network.

CPKC Site Ready Program Unlocks Industrial Potential

The Site Ready Program, developed with global engineering firm Burns & McDonnell, transforms underused land into development-ready industrial properties with built-in rail access and faster construction timelines.

Burns & McDonnell’s site selection director Courtney Dunbar emphasized that combining site diligence, master planning, rail integration, and capital improvements enhances the attractiveness of these locations for industrial investment.

Because these certified sites lie near major markets and offer full CPKC support, they represent prime opportunities for creating jobs and stimulating regional economies.

CPKC Expands Economic Growth Through Strategic Projects

CPKC’s certification effort builds on previous projects like a new auto compound near Dallas, a cold storage facility nearing completion in Kansas City, and a transload facility under development in Denton, Texas.

Each new project underlines CPKC’s commitment to fostering innovation, accelerating industrial expansion, and unlocking economic potential across North America.
