Container Transport from China to Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan’s Transport and Logistics Center (TULM) and representatives from the Chinese COSCO Shipping Group discussed issues related to:

  • Delivery of containers to the Turkmenbashi Seaport in Turkmenistan
  • Establishment of a logistics hub in Central Asia
  • Container transport along the ‘East-West’ route
  • Container freight from China through Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan
  • Transit container freight from China through Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, with subsequent shipment from the Turkmenbashi port to the European Union
