The Lviv Locomotive Repair Plant has performed a comprehensive overhaul of the electric locomotive VL11, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.

Completely Overhauled Electric Locomotive

In May, Lviv Locomotive Repair Plant, LLC, completed the repair of an electric locomotive from the VL11-025 series.

Greenbrier’s quarterly order volume reached $1.9 billion

The plant’s specialists conducted a full-scale capital repair and modernization of the locomotive.

“After the repair, the electric locomotive is ready for use by the locomotive department at the Mukachevo depot,” the statement notes.

As previously reported, five locomotives returned to the Odesa Railway after major repairs.
