Circle Line CCL6 public preview set for July 4
16.05.2026
Circle Line CCL6 public preview is set for 04 July 2026 in Singapore. The Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) has confirmed the date. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

According to the Singapore Land Transport Authority, passengers will be able to travel free of charge between Keppel, Cantonment and Prince Edward Road stations. The free travel window will run from 09:30 until 21:00. The event will take place before the full opening of Stage 6 of the Circle Line on 12 July 2026.
Stage 6 of the Circle Line Completes the Route
The three new stations will complete the Circle Line. They will close the gap between HarbourFront station and Marina Bay station.
Once CCL6 enters service, the line will extend across 39 kilometres. It will serve 33 stations.
Also, the completed line will include 12 interchange stations. These will connect commuters with all existing MRT lines: the North-South and East-West Lines (NSEWL), North East Line (NEL), Downtown Line (DTL) and Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL).
In addition, the completed section is expected to shorten travel times. This applies to trips between western areas such as Pasir Panjang and Kent Ridge and destinations in the Central Business District and Marina Bay.
Meanwhile, it will also improve links to eastern areas, including Paya Lebar and Mountbatten.
New CCL6 Stations Include Accessibility Features
The new CCL6 stations have been designed with commuter accessibility in mind. Their features include barrier-free routes, lifts, escalators and tactile guidance systems.
For example, those systems will lead passengers to key station points.
At the same time, the stations use energy-efficient technologies in design and operation. These include smart lighting, motion-sensor controls and hybrid cooling systems.
Separately, their architecture and streetscape integration have been developed to fit the surrounding urban setting and heritage character. Bicycle parking and sheltered linkways will also be provided at all three stations.
