The Czech carrier ČD has exercised its option for the fourth time and ordered another 30 two-car diesel trains Regio 160 from the Polish company Pesa, with a total value of over €121 million, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The framework contract for the delivery of up to 160 units was signed in 2020.

In total, the carrier has already ordered 106 such trains, and they are expected to be delivered by 2027.
