Belarusian Railways is preparing to receive military trains from Russia

Judging by the fact that measures to provide rolling stock and to prepare stations for shunting and loading and unloading operations has begun, Belarus is again preparing to receive military trains from the Russian Federation. Railway Supply magazine writes about this with reference to the telegram channel of the Community of Railway Workers of Belarus.
These are the following activities:
– commission survey of places of unloading (loading);
– repair of loading and unloading platforms;
– preparation of automobile approaches to loading and unloading places at stations;
– checking the serviceability of communication facilities at unloading (loading) stations;
– allocation of railway workers to organize the passage of equipment through railway crossings and provide them with means of communication;
– determination of the suitability of freight cars planned for use in international traffic;
– speeding up the repair of rolling stock;
– selection of freight wagons with the conclusion of lease and maintenance contracts;
– securing shunting locomotives at unloading stations;
– allocation of the required number of locomotive crews;
– organization of interaction with the Central Directorate of Traffic Management of Russian Railways.

In addition, until September 30, the Belarusian Railways instructed to take from all employees, including managers, an obligation not to disclose confidential information on an urgent basis. The instruction was given by Igor Anatolevich Kozlovsky, deputy head of the Belarusian Railways.
