Auto Train Flash Sale Brings $39 Fares Through July

Auto Train Flash Sale is available for a limited time, according to Amtrak. Fares start at $39 plus the cost of your vehicle. The promotion covers trips between Lorton, Virginia, near Washington, D.C., and Sanford, Florida, near Orlando.

Also, it is aimed at travelers who want to avoid traffic, rough driving conditions and “are we there yet” moments. Children ages 2-12 get 50% off. Meanwhile, passengers can bring their vehicle and everything they can fit in it.
Auto Train Flash Sale options for First Class travelers
First Class private rooms start at $239, plus the cost of the vehicle. A Roomette has two seats. They convert into upper and lower beds at night. In addition, a Bedroom offers twice the space of a Roomette. It also includes an in-room sink, restroom and shower, as outlined on Amtrak’s Auto Train page. Separately, both room types include turndown service from a dedicated attendant. They also include complimentary meals prepared by the onboard chef. Still, First Class customers get access to a Lounge Car reserved exclusively for them.

Coach Class on the Lorton, Virginia to Sanford, Florida route
Coach Class includes wide reclining seats and plenty of legroom. At the same time, there are no middle seats. Also, a complimentary continental breakfast is included before arrival.
Auto Train fares and travel dates
The offer ends March 26. It is valid on Auto Train #53. For example, the sale runs from March 17 to March 26, 2026. Travel under the offer is available from April 6 to July 31, 2026. In addition, eligible accommodations include Auto Train Coach, Roomettes, Bedrooms and Accessible Rooms.
