Amtrak Launches Brewers Express Train Experience for Fans

Amtrak is joining forces with the Milwaukee Brewers to introduce a special “Brewers Express” train, allowing fans a thrilling and green mode of transportation from Milwaukee to Chicago to get to the playoffs.

Amtrak and the Brewers created the “Brewers Express” to blend sports enthusiasm and the ease of rail transportation. Each car will have team colors and themed floorings to commemorate Milwaukee’s baseball heritage.

Pre-departure, the Intermodal Station will be a dynamic pre-game party. During that first hour, the first 300 riders will have free giveaways and bratwursts, and a DJ will perform for the masses. Due to that level of planning, the excitement comes well ahead of the train ever leaving the station.

Bernie Brewer and Barrelman will make appearances at the Milwaukee Airport Railroad Station. Thus, there, fans also get to experience interactive activities as well as special-in-transit exclusives prior to when the train heads to Chicago Union Station.
