20 years ago, the first Bulgarian locomotive by Express Service OOD was released
13.06.2023
An interesting moment from the history of the Bulgarian manufacturer of shunting locomotives, which took place exactly 20 years ago, is reported by the railway journal Railway Supply, citing Express Service OOD.
The first Bulgarian locomotive, fully developed and built by the Bulgarian manufacturer at the Express Service OOD plant, hit the railway tracks 20 years ago.
Of course, this became possible thanks to the investments and support of Holcim Bulgaria.
The locomotive MMU 1-01 is still located at the Beli Izvori plant but has already been replaced by an even more environmentally friendly battery-powered locomotive.
Railway Supply congratulates our partners on this anniversary and wishes them fruitful work in the future!
