ŽOS Trnava and ŽOS Zvolen have added four foreign production companies to the list of important rolling stock manufacturers, reports the railway portal Railway Supply.
“This is a logical connection and synergy with the core business of our group,” says V. Poór.

The company ŽOS Trnava, which deals with the revision, repair, modernization of locomotives, and the development and production of freight wagons, is strengthening its position.
In addition to railway repair shops in Trnava and Zvolen, the group has been joined by four Czech companies working in a segment that complements and supports the main activities of ŽOS Trnava and ŽOS Zvolen in the repair and modernization of wagons and rolling stock.
1. DOPP TRADE CZ (founded in 2004) specializes in manufacturing components for rail transport, particularly windows, doors, shelves, platforms for railway wagons, and trams.
2. MSV interiér (2005) was involved in the development and production of new seats, including foldable ones, seat upgrades, trash bins, window-sills, tables, basic components, upholstery fabrics, faux leather, leather, carpets, and other interior elements.
3. Kuznice MSV (1998) deals with industrial forging, processing of parts, and trade in forgings for rolling stock.
4. ROKO TREIN (2001) focuses on welding, locksmithing, metalworking, and other manufacturing of rolling stock parts.
“By buying from our long-term partners and parts suppliers in the field of modifications and modernization, we have completed two years of negotiations. I believe that although the new companies are smaller in terms of the overall sales volume of the group, their contribution to synergy with our capabilities will allow our domestic and foreign partners to assemble more complex services under one roof,” commented V. Poór, Chairman of the Board of ŽOS Trnava.
