Wabtec’s Role in Modernizing TRANSAP’s Fleet

Wabtec has partnered with TRANSAP to provide four C30ACi locomotives tailored for Chile’s freight operations. This marks TRANSAP’s first adoption of AC-traction locomotives, demonstrating its commitment to innovation. The units will operate on the Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado (EFE) network to connect forestry giant ARAUCO with key markets under a long-term agreement.
