During the visit, he toured production lines where freight and passenger locomotives are being built for operation in CIS countries.

The Wabtec team also highlighted a repair center specializing in overhauling diesel engines and other key locomotive components.

The facility is set to launch a new test stand for diesel engines, allowing for final engine testing to enhance locomotive quality and performance.

Additionally, the Ambassador visited the KTZ training center to see a simulator donated by Wabtec, aimed at improving the skills and knowledge of locomotive operators managing the Evolution locomotive fleet in Kazakhstan.
