In just one month, the train managed to replace over 100 kilometers of rails. The reconstruction process utilized advanced technologies, including flash-butt welding with a unique machine.

Additionally, new rails were unloaded and replaced rails were loaded onto the train.

The high speed of operations, reaching 4000 meters of track per shift, significantly reduced rail replacement time and minimized the duration of line closures for trains.

This enabled the reconstruction of one of Germany’s key high-speed corridors, which accommodates 120 ICE trains daily, in record time.

Furthermore, the Vossloh train has proven effective outside Germany as well. In Sweden, for example, it delivered excellent results in repairing the Malmbanan line after two derailments.

Despite challenging weather conditions, damaged rails were swiftly replaced, allowing for the resumption of ore transport from northern mines.

Thus, Vossloh continues to affirm its reputation as a reliable partner in railway infrastructure modernization, providing rapid and efficient rail replacement.
