In July 2024, it was announced that Voith’s design for the automatic power and data transmission coupling module had been adopted as the standard for digital automatic couplers on European railways.
Additionally, Voith will present couplers for various types of passenger trains, including mainline railways, metro systems, and tram cars.
The exhibit will also feature gearboxes and drives, which became part of the company’s portfolio following the acquisition of several manufacturers, including the Czech company IGW Rail.
These products illustrate Voith’s expanded capabilities in railway technologies and underscore its leadership in the industry.
