Virginia Truckee Railroad Celebrates 50th Season Starting May 24

The Virginia Truckee Railroad begins its 50th season on May 24, offering themed rides and daily scenic trips through Nevada’s historic mining region until late October. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Each ride departs from the Virginia City depot and follows the original 1869 route. The 35-minute experience runs hourly from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets cost $17–$19 for adults and $8 for children aged 5–12. Kids under 4 ride free.
