Binh Ngo Tet transport plan and ticket sales timeline
A railway spokesperson said the Binh Ngo Tet transport plan will run from February 3 to March 8, 2026—an overall window also referenced in the operator’s ticketing plan shared by SGGP English Edition. The same plan is described as spanning from the 16th day of the 12th lunar month in the year of At Ty to the 20th day of the first lunar month of Binh Ngo. Over the full period, the operator plans 55 trains and more than 800 carriages, offering roughly 335,000 long-distance tickets.
Vietnam Railways 2026 Tet ticket sales opened to the public on September 20, 2025. As of December 22, 2025—just over three months into sales—around 140,000 tickets had been sold, which the operator described as 62% of the total compared with the previous At Ty Lunar New Year; the same update said 67% of purchases were made online and 33% at stations, as reported by DTiNews (Dantri).
