Collection centres are also open at main railway stations such as Saigon, Song Than, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Hue, Dong Hoi, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, and Hai Phong. They facilitate easier coordination and swifter transportation of supply items. Trains subsequently deliver shipments to Giap Bat and Hanoi Stations, where cidade authorities conduct distributions to affected communities.

Free transport assistance started on October 10 and will persist until needed. Since floods and storms have a way to alienate faraway places, Vietnam Railways utilizes its long network of railways to provide supplies even to areas that are not accessible at all.
