“2022 was a highly challenging year for the company. After the large-scale invasion, all production facilities were suspended, and it was only in April and May that a gradual recovery of production took place across all company enterprises. However, due to port blockades, infrastructure shelling by Russian forces, and fuel shortages, we were unable to achieve pre-war production levels,” the company stated.

It is noted that Interpipe was forced to restructure the supply chains of finished products through EU ports, resulting in a 2.5-3.5 times increase in transportation expenses depending on the route.

According to Andriy Korotkov, the CEO of the company, although Interpipe was unable to reach pre-war production levels, improvements in results are expected in 2023 due to the lifting of all quotas and duties on Ukrainian goods by the US and EU.

It is worth mentioning that Interpipe NTZ ended 2022 with a loss of 1.23 billion UAH.
