Currently, Kyiv wants to order design work for the construction of a metro station worth UAH 73.4 million.

Metro station will be completed

The municipal enterprise ” Kyiv Metropolitan” is going to order the design of the construction of the metro station “Lvivska Brama”. The corresponding tender with an estimated cost of UAH 73.4 million has been announced in the Prozorro system, informs Railway Supply magazine.

According to the documentation, the entrance to the metro will not be on Lvіvska Square, as previously planned. It will be in the area of Kudryavsky Spusk and Kudryavskaya Street. The project developers are also asking to provide for the construction of a second entrance.

The term of the contract is until August 10, 2023.

The Lvivska Brama station is an unfinished and mothballed station of the Kyiv Metro. It is located on the Syretsko-Pecherska line, between the stations Lukyanivska and Zoloti Vorota. Construction began in mid-1991, but due to the lack of a comprehensive solution for the reconstruction of Lvivska Square and a lack of funds the work was frozen in 1996.
