The city’s mayor, Igor Terekhov, emphasized that a year ago, the idea of offline learning in such conditions seemed impossible.

The Metro Daycare will operate on weekends, providing preschoolers with education in a secure environment.

Kharkiv already has a successful Metro School with 60 classes for 1003 children, and school buses transport them to the subway through 34 routes.

Mayor Terekhov expressed confidence in the project’s success and pledged to expand it, sharing plans for the near future.

It’s worth noting that in the fall of 2023, the first underground school in Ukraine was established in Kharkiv.
