Ukrzaliznytsia will launch the Dnipro City Express in December 2023

The Ukrainian Railways announced the launch of the Dnipro City Express project in December, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The first route will be served by a direct current electric train of the EP2T series, upgraded at the Kyiv Electric Railcar Repair Plant.

It is noted that this is the 12th capital-repaired electric train since the beginning of the year, manufactured in Luhansk.
This is the second direct current train of the EP2T series upgraded for the Prydniprovska Railway.
Two more EP2T series trains will be released from the plant by the end of the year.
“The train is equipped with ramps, has spaces for people with disabilities, inclusive toilets, Braille navigation, bicycle spaces, as well as Type-C and USB ports for gadget charging,” the statement says.
As reported earlier, starting from December 10, a train will run to Budapest and Vienna.
