Ukrzaliznytsia announced a tender for the purchase of more than 10 000 railway wheels. The estimated cost of the purchase is UAH 318.5 million. ($ 11.7 million)

Ukrzaliznytsia announced a tender for the purchase of 10 209 solid-rolled railway wheels for an approximate amount of UAH 318,500,000. ($ 11.7 million) / This became known from the portal of state public procurement ProZorro.

The corresponding auction was announced by the branch “Production Support Center” of UZ. The deadline for submission of the proposal is July 5, 2021. The winning bidder is expected to deliver the wheels by the end of this year, according to the railway magazine Railway Supply.

Tyres for locomotives

On May 5, 2021, the UZ Production Support Center branch also announced a tender for the purchase of 4394 railway wheels. The estimated cost of the purchase is more than UAH 137 million.

UZ plans to purchase more than 14 000 wheels for a total of UAH 455 million through two tenders. ($ 16.7 million)
