The X54 tram, consisting of five modules and four bogies, demonstrated smooth operation and easy maneuverability.
Designed for intercity light rail routes, it also stands out in urban traffic on winding streets due to its body and fully articulated bogies.
With 100% low-floor design, the tram provides comfortable transportation for wheelchair users and parents with strollers.
The tests showcased excellent safety features, such as automatic power reduction on the bogies to prevent skidding.
One of the innovative aspects of the tram is regenerative braking, where energy is recovered, and in winter, energy obtained from braking is used for heating.
Škoda has demonstrated leadership in urban public transport innovation, even in challenging Scandinavian conditions.
