Unvulcanized Rubber Compounds for Commercial Use
Unvulcanized rubber compounds for commercial use are homogeneous multi-component systems that include rubber and other ingredients.
They are used to manufacture a variety of rubber technical products, seals, components of shock-absorbing systems, power parts, and other products designed to operate in contact with water, oils, fuels, and chemical solutions. Some types of rubber compounds can even be used in the food industry.
These compounds are produced in accordance with the technical specifications ТУ У 600152135.040-96 and ТУ У 6 00152.135.073-2000.
Depending on the purpose and operating conditions of rubber products, compounds are divided into the following groups:
I – rubber compounds for the production of seals and other products intended to work in the atmosphere, water, and weak acid and alkali solutions with a mass fraction of up to 20%, excluding acetic and nitric acids.
II – rubber compounds for the production of sealing products and other items intended for use in the atmosphere in cold climate conditions, such as rubber 7 IRP-1346.
III – rubber compounds suitable for creating sealing products and other items operating in contact with oils and fuels.
IV – rubber compounds designed for the manufacture of sealing and other products operating in conditions of contact with oils and fuels in cold climate regions, such as rubber IRP-1352, 7B-14-1, 7-98-1.
V – rubber compounds used for the production of sealing products and other items operating in the atmosphere, ozone, under prolonged exposure to sunlight, and overheated water, such as rubber 66-415, 51-1481.
VI – rubber compounds intended for the manufacture of shock-absorbing power products.
VII – rubber compounds with increased wear resistance.
VIII – rubber compounds with electrical insulating properties, such as rubber NN-32, 5934, 5718-K, 5718-C.
IX – rubber compounds used for the production of semi-ebonite and ebonite products, as well as for lining shafts and other items.
Rubbers for products in contact with food products conform to the technical specifications ТУ У 600152.135.073-2000.
