Ukrzaliznytsia has resumed train services on the section near Nikopol, where the embankment beneath the railway tracks had subsided, according to the railway portal Railway Supply.

Ukrzaliznytsia has restored train services

Suburban trains in the region are returning to their regular schedules. All the work was completed within the shortest possible timeframe.

  • To restore the railway, nearly 6,600 cubic meters of rubble stone and over 3,500 cubic meters of gravel were used.
  • Additionally, 150 meters of new rail-sleeper lattice were installed.
  • The contact network support was replaced.

Approximately 300 self-dumping freight wagons were involved in the delivery of construction materials for the embankment construction.

These works have allowed for the safe resumption of train operations and the normal functioning of the railway line near Nikopol.
