The most recent project involved restoring the ER9M model, which operates on the Kyiv Ring Electric Train route. The upgraded train will soon serve passengers on the Sviatoshyn–Bucha–Nemishaieve route, enhancing regional connectivity.

The refurbished train is equipped with ramps, accessible restrooms, and designated spaces for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, Braille navigation and bike mounts ensure convenience for a diverse range of passengers.

Modern charging ports, including Type-C and USB, have been installed, improving comfort during trips. Ukrzaliznytsia continues adopting innovative technologies to enhance the quality of its railway services.

Since the full-scale invasion began, the company has modernized 34 electric trains, and this effort continues. Such upgrades emphasize Ukrzaliznytsia’s dedication to maintaining reliable and efficient infrastructure for the country.
