“Ukraine, we are with you” – such an inscription now adorns the tram in Düsseldorf. It is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to DW.

Since the start of Russia’s war against Ukraine, public transport operator Rheinbahn has been providing logistical support to those arriving from Ukraine, reports the utility’s website.

It is noted that Rheinbahn buses delivered several thousand women, children and men displaced from the war zone to safe places in Düsseldorf and other parts of North Rhine-Westphalia.

In addition, refugees from Ukraine can use Rheinbahn buses and trains for free.
