The main volumes of cargo passed through the Chop–Čierna nad Tisou crossing — 4.041 million tons, and through Uzhhorod–Maťovce — 3.487 million tons.

Compared to last year, volumes decreased by 14% and 12%, respectively. Ore materials remain the main cargo position, with nearly 6 million tons transported.

Grain cargo took second place with 604,000 tons, followed by coal at 204,000 tons.

Other transported goods included construction materials (176,000 tons) and petroleum products (128,000 tons).

The decline primarily affected ore and grain cargoes — by 1.084 million and 231,000 tons, respectively.

Nevertheless, despite the overall decline, rail shipments of ore to Slovakia remain at a high level, highlighting the importance of this direction for both countries.
