Ukraine and Moldova have signed a protocol for the organization of joint control at a railway crossing point, this is reported by the railway transport news portal, Railway Supply.

The signing took place following an online conversation between the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denis Shmygal, and the Prime Minister of Moldova, Dorin Recean.

The head of the Ukrainian government emphasized that joint control at crossing points would provide advantages to both countries in logistics, trade, and the economy.

Denis Shmygal noted that Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania, in their trilateral cooperation, have all the opportunities to activate logistics corridors to diversify Ukraine’s export routes.

Additionally, during the online meeting, the Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Moldova discussed further steps for the development of logistics corridors, economic, and energy cooperation.
