TŽV Gredelj has completed work on the first of 18 locomotives that it will refurbish for ZSSK Cargo, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.

In June 2022, the Slovak freight operator and CZ Loko reached a €20 million agreement for the refurbishment of 20 Class 742 locomotives to the EffiShunter 742.6 standard.

Two locomotives were modernized at the CZ Loko plant in Jihlava, while the remaining 18 will be reconstructed by TŽV Gredelj.
