Two ES1000 battery locomotives have been sent to Romania
13.11.2023
The Bulgarian manufacturer of shunting locomotives delivered 2 ES1000 battery locomotives to their colleagues at Softronic in Romania, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Softronic uses them for shunting around their factory in Craiova and the depot at the Hungarian border station Curtici.
Their factory, where they produce their well-known new 6-axle Transmontana locomotives, is new and well-equipped. Express Service OOD is pleased to use Bulgarian-made ES1000 locomotives for shunting operations.
During the trials, shunting operations were performed using ES1000 locomotives for LTE RAIL and Greencargo – Softronic’s main client.
An interesting fact is that the ES1000 shunting locomotives are equipped with an integrated INDUSI system, allowing them to operate at the station there.
Express Service OOD is involved in the development, design, and production of efficient and environmentally friendly shunting locomotives. They utilize advanced technologies and ensure high quality of their products.
